This year 94 companies qualified for inclusion on the annual list. The list ranks firms by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for revenue from 2014 through 2018, excluding acquisitions. To qualify for the list companies needed to have had at least $1 million in revenue in 2014 and at least 15% CAGR between 2014 and 2018. The median CAGR for the top 10 companies this year was 73.4%. For the full list, it was 27.4%.

Looking at the list, healthcare staffing was the most common segment with 34 firms. It was followed by IT with 28 firms. Of the top 10 staffing firms, three provide industrial staffing and three provide healthcare staffing. Two others provide IT staffing, one provides engineering staffing and one more firm provides direct hire. And for the first time, there is a nonprofit staffing firm in this year’s top 10.
